Welcome to BeginnersUnite! I'm glad to have you here :icongrin--plz:
Even though this group is geared more towards beginners and helping us grow, we will gladly accept anyone who would like to join!

1. Be respectful: If you don't like something don't look, there is no need for you to be rude to other artists.

2. No Mature Content: As you all know, we no longer accept mature content. This includes excessive blood and gore and nudity. The only nudity allowed is in our anatomy section, if it's not an anatomy lesson or reference then it's not permitted in the group.

3. No BASE Art: This group is all about bettering your art skill so from now on, we do not allow base art. Try taking a look at our anatomy folder or ask any of the contributors if you need help with anatomy.

4. Due to many people submitting to the Tutorial folders and not to the correct folders- the Tutorial folders are only open to contributors and the founder to submit to. So if you have a tutorial you will either need to note the group/comment on the main page with a link to the tutorial (and we will add it to the galleries) or become a contributor.

Since I didn't post our monthly blog, I will be giving you an update now.

I would like to take this time to formally welcome those who've joined the group during this month. Thanks for joining! Thanks to all of our current members for your activity in the group.

The contributors and I are discussing upcoming activities for the group which include themes that will give the participants features each month, as well as a few other things.

I am Annnu and I'm responsible for the Livestreams. Lately thanks to school I hadn't enough time to be active and generally be on internet. But now that schools are closed for 2 weeks I have time for everything. In my Livestreams I'll be drawing things you might want help with or whatever comes to my mind. Today I'll be livestreaming on 13:00 (UTC).

We will be holding another "Improvement Contest" so get your entries ready! I will be posting information as well as rules and prizes in the next monthly blog. If you would like to donate prizes, please see =sketch7778 or note the group.

For those of you who are interested in help, we will be offering assignments. We will give you a task to do that will help you with your drawing. Assignments will include shading, drawing shapes, how to draw eyes, gesture drawings, etc. We will start out simple and work our way up.

You have more ways than one of getting help in our group now. There's currently livestreams, youtube videos created by our admin, :new: assignments, and as always- tutorials.

Hide And Seek - Chapter XIt was a long night for Thomas. Despite his efforts with the kidnapper, the case had ended in a stakeout. He must have fallen asleep, because when he woke up he was sitting in the drivers seat of his car while all the other officers were milling about the house. He quickly composed himself and got out of his car.

"Hey, there he is." An officer named Eric came up and patted him on the shoulder.

"You alright?"

"Alright as I can be. What's going on?"

"The little girl is out safe, the kidnapper committed suicide in the basement."

Thomas cringed a little and gritted his teeth.

"Ah, I hate it when they end like that..."
